Our Beginning
In 1999, principals of U.S. Business Services, Inc., a business development, printer and merchandising company that has been in business since 1993, created Soft-Temps.
Soft-Temps and its affiliate share 14,000 square feet of office, production and development space in facilities in Jensen Beach, Florida (about 30 miles north of the Palm Beaches).
Roughly one million dollars has been invested in Soft-Temps to help ensure the success of this enterprise.
From 2001-2003 extensive testing of our online operating system and business design was performed via a panel of beta participants. This testing occurred over a 23-month period.
Our Future
Our business philosophy is to grow Soft-Temps very rapidly over the next 5 to 10 years both domestically and internationally.
- During 2006 we plan on making Soft-Temps a truly national franchise by obtaining large-scale representation across the U.S.
- During 2007 we will further penetrate the U.S. market and begin development of the Canadian market where our Soft-Temps brand is a registered trademark.
- During 2008 we will penetrate the European Community where our brand is in the final stages of registration, a process that takes approximately two years.
Our growth expectations are tied to an extremely low franchise fee of $995 coupled with an equally low franchise maintenance fee schedule, one that provides our franchises with a financial incentive to succeed.
Our franchise profile targets IT professionals who want their own business but lack the national merchandising umbrella and operations plan and training to be in business by themselves.
As a virtual franchise, the Soft-Temps umbrella, training and plan is available 24/7 with the live components added during normal working hours.
